Welcome to the Bristol Walking and Hosteling group website.

We are a walking group based in the Bristol Area of the Uk. Bristol is in the south west region of the Uk.

The group organises weekends away, weekend day walks and talks and lectures in the winter months.

The Group is also looking for new members to join us on our weekly and fortnightly events.

The summer months March to Sept  we have a short walk on a Tuesday night.

Tuesday nights the rest of the year we meet  at the Broadmead Baptist Church

where we hire a room and have lectures, Quiz nights etc.

The programme also iincludes social activities, like theatre trips and dining out evenings at local venues.

The Group is affiliated to the Youth Hostel Association in order that we get discounted deals whilst we are away.

You do not have to be a member of the YHA to join us or be a member of the Broadmead Baptist Church.

The group is open to everyone "open to all policy" only one restriction applies that children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Membership is £10 per year and this includes basic insurance, sourced from the Youth Hotel Association scheme.
